On Friday 25th September, a whole day project was carried out in Dub nad Moravou school. All its activities were carefully prepared by participating teachers, and students really looked forward to this event, the very first with such topic in our school!
Students were divided into 5 groups which spent each one of 5 lesson at a different workshop: Chemical experiments focused on food, Ecological agriculture, Presentation of healthy food products with tasting less frequent and less known healthy food, Food produce from geographical point of view and finally a workshop on anorexia - bulimy problems. Students liked above all practical activities and the opportunity to " taste " everything personally. For the first time majority of them met TOFU, sesame products, less known pulses, brown sugar, wild rice, hummus, less frequent cereals and others.
The feedback we got from our students and parents was great, appreciating the effectiveness of the project.
